Task force to be formed to monitor lifting of anti-Iran sanctions

Tehran, April 23, IRNA A task force will be formed to guarantee activities in line with removal of anti-Iran sanctions, a member of Iran's negotiating team announced.

Hamid Baeedinejad wrote in a Telegram channel that Iran and P5+1 held first joint commission meeting after implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The meeting was held at the level of experts and deputies foreign ministers on Thursday and Friday in Vienna, Austria, said Baeedinejad.

About the task force, he said the sides agreed to form it in order to follow up implementation of the laws related to removal of anti-Iran sanctions.

The task force will also focus more on problems Iran will be facing as well as questions about implementation issues, he added.

One of issues that was finalized on the sidelines of Iran-P5+1 joint commission meeting on Friday was signing a contract between Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) and American companies on selling 32 tons of heavy water of Iran's Arak site.

Selling of Arak heavy water seemed to be impossible due to sensitivity of nuclear material in that water, he added.
