Kabul, April 6, IRNA - The Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah stressed further consolidation and promotion of relations with Iran.


He made the remarks in a meeting with the visiting Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Morteza Sarmadi here on Wednesday.

He said Afghanistan has always stayed clear of any regional rivalries.

He further voiced his country�s readiness to play a positive and constructive role in promoting healthy relations among regional countries.

Sarmadi underlined the need for promoting mutual relations in post-JCPOA time in bilateral, regional and international topics and said Iran attached high importance to its ties with Afghanistan.
