Kabul, April 6, IRNA - The Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah stressed further consolidation and promotion of relations with Iran.
He made the remarks in a meeting with the visiting Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Morteza Sarmadi here on Wednesday.
He said Afghanistan has always stayed clear of any regional rivalries.
He further voiced his countrys readiness to play a positive and constructive role in promoting healthy relations among regional countries.
Sarmadi underlined the need for promoting mutual relations in post-JCPOA time in bilateral, regional and international topics and said Iran attached high importance to its ties with Afghanistan.
