Tehran, March 30, IRNA � Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei met with a number of religious eulogists (Maddahan) here on Wednesday.


Maddahan are those who sing with no music to praise characteristics of Ahlul Beit (household members of great Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)).

The meeting is being held on the occasion of birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh (SA), the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad and wife of Imam Ali (the first Imam of Shia Muslims).

Birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) is designated as national Woman and Mother's Day in Iran.
