Rouhani says country should get ready for development

Tehran, Feb 10, IRNA President Hassan Rouhani says the country should get prepared for JCPOA-2 which is national change and development, an allusion to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action which opened the way for a nuclear deal between Iran and six world powers.

The President made the remarks Wednesday at a ceremony to open 549 sports and educational projects in different parts of the country.

Iran and the six world powers reached a landmark nuclear agreement known as the JCPOA on July 14, 2015. On January 16, 2016, anti-Iran sanctions were lifted and 'Implementation Day' of the JCPOA started.

JCPOA removed the hindrances and paved the way to move towards development, said Rouhani, adding the country is powerful enough to make a change in line with development during the new conditions.

Also, the President said Iran's youth can build the future of the country.

President Rouhani inaugurated the projects today on the eve of the 37th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution on February 11 this year.
