Russian banks resume relations with Iran: Official
Tehran, January 25, The Iran Project A senior Iranian trade and planning officialsays that three Russian banks will resume their relations with Iran in the near future.

Speaking to a reporter on Monday, Mina Mehrnoush, the head of planning at the Organization for Trade Development of Iran said that Russian Tempbank will open an office in Tehran in one or two months.

Mehrnoush also announced that Russian banks are ready to open LC (Letter of credit) for Iran.

In their recent visit to Russia, Iranian trade delegation had great meetings with three Russian banks - Tempbank, Mir Business Bank and RFC bank, the Iranian official said, adding that Mir Business which is the representative of Irans Melli Bank will provide good facilities and credit lines for our country.

She went on to say that one of the other topics that was discussed in the meeting was that Iranian local companies can open an account in Russian banks without travelling to the country.

An Iranian trade delegation visited Russia to explore ways for the further expansion of bilateral ties and financial exchanges between Tehran and Moscow.
