Tehran, Jan 14, IRNA � Top Iranian cleric Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi lashed out at Saudi Arabia for silencing the voices of criticism by spending its oil revenues.

Addressing a religious course in the Iranian city of Qom on Wednesday, Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi said Saudi Arabia�s recent attack on Iran�s embassy in Yemen did not draw any condemnation thanks to Riyadh�s petrodollars.

According to Tasnim, the grand Ayatollah also censured the violation of human rights and lack of freedom in the kingdom.

Last week, Saudi Arabia launched a rocket attack on the Iranian embassy in Sana�a, which incurred damages to the building and wounded several Iranian guards.
