Iran to complete data bank of women contributing to Iran-Iraq imposed war
Tehran, November 12, The Iran Project- Deputy of Iran's organization for publishing works and values of women participation in Holy Defense (referring to Iran-Iraq imposed war) said the full data bank of thewomen contributing to the war will be completed soon.

Speaking to the reports on the sidelines of her visit to the 21st Press Exhibition in Tehran on Thursday, Fatemeh Ghorban said the organization's mission is to collect the data relevant to women's role in 1980s Iraq war and to promote this culture in the society.

She highlighted the role of media to that ends, adding that the media is a powerful instrument with which we can develop the culture.

Completing the first data bank on the women's participation is considered the organization's initial mission," she said, further noting that this is the only way we can promote the life and contributions of these key figures.

Ghorban went on to say that names, biography and the works of martyrs, veterans and prisoners' wives are also included in this data bank.

"The data has been collected by the contribution of Women Basij and theOrganizationforPreserving Worksand Publishing the Values of theHoly Defense," she said in concluding part of her remarks.
