Iran energy investment summit opens in Berlin

Berlin, Oct 1, IRNA - A day-long Iranian energy investment summit kicked off in Berlin on Thursday, attended by a high-level Iranian
oil and gas delegation headed by Deputy Oil Minister Roknoddin Javadi.

The conference dwells on cooperation and investment opportunities in Irans lucrative energy market.

This executive-level summit is to address developments in Irans energy market and the challenges it faces within rapidly changing global
market structures.

The summit will also provide a unique networking opportunity, as high-powered representatives from Irans national oil and gas companies
are scheduled discuss recent and prospective legislative amendments and structural changes within the marketplace.

The conference features also a two-hour plenary session to discuss investment and development opportunities along with existing
projects in Irans upstream and downstream markets, followed by three working groups covering the following topics:

1. OIL AND NATURAL GAS
2. PETROCHEMICALS
3. ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The working groups are scheduled to discuss specific industry developments, regulatory issues, and market innovations in detail,
touching on all aspects of the Iranian energy landscape.

Germany has been the scene of numerous executive-level business conferences in recent months, including the high-profile Berlin visit by Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh in early May.
