Mashad, Sept 3, IRNA � Head of Strategic Studies of the Expediency Council Ali Akbar Velayati said on Thursday that Iran never pins hope on the goodwill of the US about the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action (JCPOA).

Speaking to reporters in Mashad, he said the record of activities of the US against Iran is very bad, so, the recent statement made by US Secretary of State John Kerry to put more pressures on Iran was not beyond expectation.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is not optimistic about US officials and if the Americans have taken any action consistent with the nuclear talks with Iran was in line with their own interests, he said.

What Iran achieved through negotiations is indebted to people and the negotiating team as well, Velayati underlined.
