Vienna, July 6, IRNA � Foreign ministers and deputy foreign ministers of Iran and the six world powers began their general meeting in Vienna on Monday afternoon.

The general meeting opened after separate consultations of foreign ministers with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

The General meeting started in the Austrian capital at 17:00 o'clock local time.

This is the first general meeting of foreign ministers of Iran and the G5+1 countries since April.

Earlier in the day, foreign ministers of the six powers held a private meeting to reach consensus on a comprehensive deal with Iran.

After that, Foreign Minister Zarif held separate meetings with his Russian and US counterpart and EU Foreign Policy chief Federica Mogherini.

Foreign ministers of the G5+1 countries and Ms. Mogherini arrived in Vienna since Sunday evening.

They have focused on the context of the deal and they hoped they would reach a comprehensive deal with Iran before July 9.
