Post-sanctions Iran to continue economy of resistance

TEHRAN July 04(Shana)--Iranian government spokesman says Iran wills stick to the economy of resistance even after the sanctions are removed following a nuclear deal between Iran and the P5+1.

"The economy of resistance is a long-term mechanism for Iran and will remain the case after the sanctions are lifted," said Mohammad-Bagher Nobakht speaking prior to the Tehran Friday Prayer sermons.

He said during the past Iranian calendar year, Iran's agricultural production rose 6.6%, marine transits rose 117%, railway transport grew 61% and export of oil items excluding condensate rose 13%.

Nobakht also highlighted the Rouhani administration's achievements including reduction of inflation during the two years that it took office in Iran.
Iranian negotiations are in intensive nuclear talks with representatives of the P5+1 group in a hotel in Vienna, Austria.
