Tehran, June 16, IRNA � Senior Iranian negotiator Majid Takhte-Ravanchi said on Monday Iran pursues talks with Sextet seriously and Iranian team hopes to strike the deal until July 2.

The Iranian deputy foreign minister for European and American affairs made the comment in a meeting with the Spanish Foreign Ministry Managing Director for Political and Security Affairs Enrico Mora.

Takhte-Ravanchi said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to expand bilateral ties.

'Foreign minister's recent visit to Spain and his meetings with Spanish officials has been effective to get closer,' he said.

Enrico Mora expressed satisfaction over the achieved progress in Iran-Sextet nuclear negotiations and said that Spain closely and enthusiastically pursues the talks.

'Spain is interested in consulting with Iran on major regional and international developments,' the Spanish diplomat said.
