Iran demands int'l rights, norms in nuclear talks: Minister

Qeshm Island, Hormuzgan Prov., May 29, IRNA - Minister of Defense Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said Iran pursues its internationally recognized rights and rules during the on-going nuclear negotiations with the P5+1 group of world powers.

He made the remarks here on Thursday in a ceremony to launch the second phase of Masjed ul-Nabi (PBUH) construction and said Iran's nuclear negotiators will not withdraw from the rights of nation.

Saying that Supreme Leader of Revolution supports Iran's negotiating team, Dehqan added that the team members are aiming at securing the rights of the nation free from any threat or humiliation.

'Although Iran is after reaching an agreement which will benefit all negotiating parties, it is not the case that we will accept any violation of our national interests,' the minister stressed.
