Iran sees buffer zone in Syria a repetitive mistake

Tehran, May 28, IRNA - Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amirabdollahian on Thursday called setting up a no fly buffer zone in Syria as the repetition of previous mistakes.

He made the remarks in the 42nd annual meeting of foreign ministers of member states of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Kuwait City.

The official stressed resolution of Syria crisis through political ways and in the meantime controlling Syria borders to prevent terrorists' traffic.

He warned about manipulation of terrorism in Syria, Yemen and Iraq as a big mistake, adding that such actions will endanger regional security.
