Zarif: We're on way back home; lots of work to be done

Tehran, May 6, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote in his Twitter page that the Iranian negotiating team is on its way back to Tehran, and lots of work remains to be done, but working for Iran is a pride and very pleasant.

The head of the Iranian nuclear negotiation team who has been in New York accompanied by his deputies Seyyed Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takhte-Ravanchi since April 26 wrote that after a week of hard work they are on their way back home.

During his, in addition to attending the sessions of the NPT Revision Conference and meetings with some other countries' officials, Zarif supervised the course of Iran-P5+1 negotiations and drafting the final text of a comprehensive nuclear agreement.

Lots of work remains to be done, he wrote, but working for the beautiful land of the brave has always been both a pride and very pleasing for me.

Zarif also wrote in his Twitter page on Monday that many parentheses remain, but there is the determination to end fabricated crises.

Zarif's deputies are scheduled to resume writing the draft of the final agreement with Deputy EU Foreign Policy Chief, Helga Schmidt in Vienna.
