Last round of nuclear talks in New York today

Tehran, May 5, IRNA The last round of nuclear talks between Iran and representatives of the six world powers will be held in New York on Tuesday.

Today's talks on drafting the text of comprehensive nuclear agreement will be held at the level of deputies and experts.

After a one-week pause, the two sides will resume negotiations next Tueday in the Austrian capital, Vienna.

After the last round of New York talks, the two sides' experts will continue discussions till Thursday.

From April 30, Iranian Deputy Foreign Ministers Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht-e Ravanchi as well as EU Foreign Policy Deputy Chief Helga Schmid (on behalf of the P5+1) have been discussing in New York about drafting the comprehensive nuclear agreement.

The Iranian expert team headed by Hamid Baeedinejad and the other side led by Stephan Clement also were working on attachments during the days.

In a message on Twitter, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif had said the talks are progressing slowly and continuously but there are still many parentheses.
