Iran ready to send aids, medicine to Yemen: Official

Tehran, March 28, IRNA Head of Iran Red Crescents Relief and Rescue Organization Nasser Charkhsaz voiced readiness to dispatch aid and medicine to Yemen.




Expressing sympathy with the people in Yemen, he said his organization is determined to render services to Yemeni people as long as there is a need.

The official also said that his organization is also inclined to transfer those Yemeni people injured during the recent happenings in the country to Iran.

Iran's Red Crescent Society has already sent a planeload of humanitarian aid and medicine to Yemen.

The 13-ton relief package of Iranian humanitarian aid is intended to help those recently been targetted by Saudi-led aggression on Yemen.

On its departure from Yemen, the aircraft is to transfer a number of wounded Yemenis to Tehran to receive medical treatment at the Iranian hospitals.
