All countries should help regional stability: Zarif

Lausanne, March 27, IRNA - Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Friday that all countries should try to establish tranquility and prevent the spread of insecurity in the region.

Talking to reporters, Zarif referred to the recent remarks of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Yemen, adding all countries should try to establish tranquility in the region.

Talking on Yemen developments, Turkish President Erdogan accused Iran on Thursday of trying to dominate the Middle East and said Tehran's efforts have begun annoying Ankara, as well as Saudi Arabia and Persian Gulf Arab countries.

'It is better for those who have caused irreparable damage with their strategic blunders and ambitious policies to adopt responsible policies aimed at using the existing capacities for establishing peace and convergence in the region,' Zarif said.

He underscored that the Islamic Republic of Iran is fully ready to cooperate with its brothers in the region and facilitate the dialogue among the different Yemeni groups aimed at bringing back peace and tranquility to this Arab country.
