TEHRAN, Jan. 28 (MNA) In her weekly press conference, Irans FM spokeswoman has urged the other negotiating side to take heed of Irans initiative proposals to reach a final agreement as soon as possible.Irans FM spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham has covered a wide range of topics in todays weekly press conference, starting with congratulating everyone on the upcoming anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
She touched upon the deteriorating situation in Bahrain, adding that Iran continues to condemn the ongoing abuses occurring there including the arrest of opposition leaders, especially Sheikh Ali Salman.
She also condemned the Israeli terrorist attack in Syria, stressing that it needed to be dealt with properly to ensure that it would not continue to occur. She added that Iran is pursuing Israelis state terrorism through diplomatic channel.
Iran strongly condemned the killing of Japanese hostage by ISIL terrorists, she said.
On Yemen and the ongoing situation there, she assessed Irans stance stating that Iran wants all parties involved to adhere to the agreement and work together in order to bring peace and stability to the country.
She once again reiterated Iran continues to go forward with nuclear negotiations with the six states, with some major issues already dealt with but some technicalities still remaining to be solved.
While announcing Iran and European representatives of 5+1 will resume nuclear talks at deputy level in Istanbul on Thursday, she asserted that the Islamic Republic has offered a number of initiative proposals for making an exit through the deadlock in the negotiations, expressing hope for the other side to take heed of the proposals to increase the possibility of reaching an agreement and settling remaining differences.
Afkham highlighted the significance of parliamentary relations with other countries, touching upon particularly on Iran and Germany and adding that the two countries have had 8 diplomatic parliamentary delegation exchanges in the past 18 months.
She also maintained that Iran and Russia are after boosting bilateral ties, taking full advantage of any opportunity to use the capacities strictly in line with national interests.
