ISLAMABAD: Director General of Pakistan Anti-Narcotics Force Maj. Gen. Khawar Hanif has said that Iran was the frontrunner of the campaign against drug-trafficking.
In an exclusive interview with IRNA, Hanif said Iran had paid heavy financial and human costs in the fight against drug-trafficking and had been one of the big victims of the wicked phenomenon.

Hailing Iran's efforts to fight drug trafficking, Khawar Hanif urged other countries and international organizations to further cooperate with Iran in this regard.
