TEHRAN, Jan. 17 (MNA) Iranian FM and his German counterpart emphasized the ongoing nuclear talks between Tehran and 5+1 had reached a decisive phase.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier emphasized that the ongoing nuclear talks between Iran and the Sextet had reached a decisive phase representing the need for taking advantage of a new time window opened to come to solution in the standoff.


Iranian foreign minister arrived in the German capital Berlin on January 15 and met with German Foreign Minister Steinmeier to discuss on various topics regarding Irans nuclear program.


Welcoming promotion of cooperative relations between the two sides, Zarif and Steinmeier emphasized on further expansion of bilateral ties in all aspects.


Commenting in a joint press briefing with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Mohammad Javad Zarif ensured German crucial role in achieving a nuclear deal.


Stating that extremism and terrorism knows no boundaries, Zarif stressed the role played by Iran and Germany in prevention of war and aiding Syria and Iraq governments.

Noting that Irans nuclear talks have entered a decisive phase, German FM said, during the past ten years, we have gone through difficult moments even where the talks were suspended temporarily or for a long time.


Pointing to the N-talks between Iran and the 5+1, Steinmeier stressed on taking advantage of the new time window opened to provide opportunity for settlement.


Gradual lifting of Irans sanctions need to be put on the agenda, Frank-Walter Steinmeier said, expressing hope that the ten-year conflict finally reaches the end result.
