Muslim unity, sole way to destroy Israel: Afghan activist
Tehran, Jan 9, IRNA -- A prominent Afghan pro-Palestinian activist says the sole way for Muslims to counter the Zionist regime and destroy it is to get united.
Organizer of pro-Palestinian campaigns in Afghanistan, Abd Raouf Tavana was speaking to Qods News Agency on the sidelines of an international conference in Tehran on Muslim unity.
The Afghan activist the Tehran conference was a major effort for unifying the Muslim community, adding that Muslims must deal with the struggle against the Zionist regime must free from any bias.

The Afghan activist also recalled the landmark anti-Israeli campaign of the late father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini and said should the late Imam had not hoisted the Palestinian flag, there would have been no word of support for the Palestinian nation today.

Tavana believed that the Zionist regime continues to live due to weakness and lack of zeal on the part of certain reactionary Arab governments in the region, adding that Palestine would become free once Muslims join their hands against Israel.

The Muslim scholars and activists who have joined the conference focused on the Palestinian issue in the second day of the event.

The conference that is the 28th edition of the unity conference started in Tehran on Wednesday under the banner of single Muslim community, challenges and solutions.

The participant approved the idea that the Palestinian issue and the struggle against the Zionist regime was a key foreign policy for the Muslim community.

The scholars also underlined the role of hostile states in the emergence of the ISIL terror group and its negative effect on the Palestinian issue.

The conference listened to lecturers who convincingly argued that the sole way to counter the western conspiracy in forming the ISIL terrorism was to get united and take up arms.
