Zenit-Kazan volleyball team interested in Saeid Marouf: Report
TEHRAN (Tasnim) Russia's Zenit Kazan volleyball team has shown interest in signing Iranian national volleyball team captain Saeid Marouf.



The Russian club is going to sign Marouf, Shahrdari Urmia Volleyball Club reported.

Marouf was named as the best setter in the 2014 World League, where he helped Iran finish fourth behind USA, Brazil and Italy.

Marouf joined Shahrdari Urmia on a one-year contract from Matin Varamin in July.

VC Zenit-Kazan, formerly "Dinamo Tattransgaz Kazan", is a professional Volleyball team based in Kazan, Russia.

It plays in the Russian Volleyball Super League (4-time champion). The team won the 2007-08 and 2011-12 CEV Champions League titles.
