Tehran, Dec 17, IRNA - Head of Strategic Research Center of the Expediency Council Ali Akbar Velayati said on Wednesday that all countries now admit that the political and security status of Iran is very stable.

The world is now experiencing rapid changes and requires strategic approaches, he said.

Iran is now regarded as the most powerful and influential country in West Asia as confirmed by all countries closely watching Iran, Velayati said.

Iran is targeted by cultural inroads and therefore it should spare no effort to defend its culture which dates back to 10,000 years ago, he said.

Cultural identity is the secret to long-lasting resistance, he said adding that pro-Zionist regime countries have hatched various plots against Iran, Velayati said.

Western countries try to ignore the capabilities of Iranian managers in order to prevent the country's economic development and progress, he said.

Iran has made significant breakthrough in scientific sector which is very admirable, he said.

Many countries in the world are now taking advantage of Iran's medical knowledge.
