4th Int'l Technology Management Conference opens in Kish

Kish, Nov 30, IRNA Fourth International Technology Management Conference will open in Kish tomorrow and will work for two days.
Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Farhadi will inaugurate the conference, executive secretary of the conference, Jalal Panahi said.
He said that exposing role of big economic enterprises in commercialization of science and technology, reviewing necessities of technological management in economic enterprises and documentation of national and international experience of economic enterprises in technology management are among the objectives of the two-day conference.

Topics for discussion during the event include role of small, medium and big enterprises in commercialization of science and technology, management of innovation in small, medium and big as well as knowledge-based enterprises, diplomacy of technology at service of development and transfer of knowledge and technology, he said.

Panahi further noted that some 324 articles have been submitted to the secretariat of the conference, of which some 95 papers have been selected for presentation during the conference, with orally 20 and 75 in the form of posters.

Of 20 articles received from foreign countries, only four were selected for presentation during the event, Panahi noted.

Representatives from 30 countries including Gambia, Iraq, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan Republic, Palestine, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Turkey, Britain Bangladesh, South Africa and Sweden are participating in the conference.
