Iranian short film takes intl. film festivals by storm
TEHRAN, Nov. 26 (MNA) Amir Masoud Soheilis short film Blue Eyed Boy has greatly impressed world film critics during its some 30 screenings at international festivals.
Blue Eyed Boy directed by Amir Masoud Soheili has won popular accliam with international audience and critics alike. It has been screened at more than 30 international film festivals and won the grand prize in Mirlift international short film festival in Morocco, best film in world auteur short film festival in India and in top 10 list of Beinten International Film Festival of Russia.


Blue Eyed Boy recounts the story of a young boy with unusual color blindness which causes him to see the world in blue. When medical treatment fails to help, his parents take him to a local shaman for remedy.





Masoud Soheili, an award-winning independent filmmaker was born in 1988 in Mashhad, Iran. He earned a BA degree in Law from Ferdowsi University, but then moved on to film industry to serve as an assistant director in some professional movies for more than seven years. He made his first short film The Car Blows Its Horn Just for Women in January 2013 that was screened and awarded in some national and International festivals.
