Iran to host Islamic countries parties’ summit

TEHRAN, Nov. 08 (MNA) – Islamic Coalition Party international deputy has said Iran will host summit for political parties in Islamic countries.

Hamidreza Taraghi, Deputy Director for International Affairs of the Islamic Coalition (Motalefeh) Party, said the planning and cooperation committees have been formed in Tehran jointly with the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought headed by Ayatollah Mohsen Araki.

In an interview with Mehr news, Hamidreza Taraghi said the Islamic countries parties’ Summit will be held concurrently with the Islamic Unity Conference as a session on the sidelines of the summit.

“Cooperation committee with the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has already been formed and is scheduled to have a meeting in Lebanon,” he added.

Taraghi asserted that invitation of parties in Islamic countries will be done with necessary planning and stressed that the final list of guests and parties will probably be determined after the meeting in Lebanon.

Islamic Unity Conference is held annually during Unity (Vahdat) Week, the week including birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad PBUH, in Tehran.
