MOSCOW, October 23 (RIA Novosti) - Russian State DumaSpeaker Sergei Naryshkin will visit Tehran before the end of the year, the Iranian ambassador to Russia told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
"Before the end of the year Naryshkin is scheduled to visit Tehran," Mehdi Sanai said.

He added that the visit is expected after Iranian Vice President Sorena Sattari comes to Moscow on Monday, October 27.

According to the Iranian ambassador, Sattari is scheduled to meet with Russian presidential aide Andrei Fursenko, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin andEducationand Science Minister Dmitry Livanov. He will also visit the Russian city of Kazan.

"I think, the cooperation in the sphere of technologies, which already exists between the two countries, will continue to develop, and that Sattari will reach plenty of agreements with his partners," Sanai said.

Upon the invitation of the State Duma Deputy Speaker Nikolai Levichev, the Iranian parliamentary group will arrive in Moscow on Monday. "The parliamentary cooperation [between two countries] will be active during the next few months, and the upcoming visit of Naryshkin also confirms this," the ambassador noted.

Late in September, Russian President Vladimir Putin heldbilateral talkswith Iranian President Hassan Rouhani during a summit of Caspian states in Astrakhan, discussing the political developments and cooperation in the energy sphere. The Caspian Sea littoral states of Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan,Kazakhstanand Turkmenistan also agreed to hold joint emergency exercises in 2016.
