Tehran, Sept 18, IRNA � Minister of Agricultural Jihad Mahmoud Hojjati voiced Iran?s readiness to export agricultural products to Russia via the Republic of Azerbaijan.
He made the remarks in a meeting with the visiting Azeri Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev here on Wednesday.
H e pointed to the strained relations between European Union and Russia and said given the warm ties between Tehran and Baku, Azerbaijan could act as a bridge for export of Iran's agricultural products to Russia.

He also said that an Iranian delegation is to visit Baku in near future to discuss the issue.

Hojjati said Iran and Azerbaijan had good cooperation in fishery in the Caspian Sea.

Mustafayev, for his part, said that the aim of his visit to Iran was to accelerate implementation of contents of a joint meeting in the August 2014.09.18.
