TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran said that there has been no stop in accomplishment of Arak Heavy Water Reactor.
"There has been no stop in building and accomplishing Arak Heavy Water Reactor so far. We will carry out our activities based on the planning and timing announced by the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI)," said Head of Arak Reactor Construction Project.

The remarks were made after some news reports were released that the operational activities of the reactor have been stopped.

Doors of IR-40 Arak Heavy Water Reactor were opened for the first time after a decade, and it would be launched in the near future.

"The only cases which have been stopped are those agreed by Iran and G5+1 based on the Joint Action Plan, which includes two cooling pumps and reactor convertors," the official said.

"I am so happy to tell people of our country that we accomplished much of ancillary units of Arak site and we have launched power, water, steam and compressed air system which can be used."
