Azerbaijan economy minister due in Tehran tomorrow

Tehran, Sept 15, IRNA Azerbaijani Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev is set to arrive in Tehran on Tuesday for a 3-day visit at the head of an economic delegation.
The visit is aimed at pursuing the implementation of the agreements reached by the 9th Iran-Azerbaijan Joint Economic Cooperation Commission in Baku last month.
A top-ranking delegation, including deputy ministers of foreign affairs, energy, economy and industries and transport as well as managing directors of the country's main oil and gas companies are accompanying Mustafayev, who is also the Azeri co-chairman of the Iran-Azerbaijan joint commission.

The visit will be paid upon an invitation by Iran's Minister of communication and Information Technology and the Iranian co-chairman of the joint commission Mahmoud Vaezi.

During his stay in Tehran, Mustafayev is also expected to meet with several Iranian cabinet ministers and other high-ranking officials.

Considering Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev's invitation to President Hassan Rouhani to pay a visit to Baku, Mustafayev will make the necessary preparations for the upcoming visit to Baku of the Iranian president.
