Samad Marfavi steps down as Saba coach
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Samad Marfavi has stepped down as head coach of Saba due to travel conditions.
Saba was held to a 2-2 draw by Rah Ahan in the Iranian Professional League (IPL) on Friday and Marfavi announced his retirement right away in the post match news conference.



I am tired of traveling from Tehran to Qom and I decided to quit my job, Marfavi said.

Of course, some other things didnt let me to work there, he added.

Marfavi was appointed as Saba coach in November 2013 for a second stint.

Saba is eighth in the Iranian Professional League after seven weeks.
