TEHRAN, Sep. 02 (MNA) The 1st special workshop and international exhibition on standardization and commercialization of Halal food to be held in Sep. 8-10.The special workshop will host speakers from Asia-Oceania Islamic countries including Malysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Sudan, Yemen, Kumor and Emirates.
Speakers from different countries will attend the workshop to deliver speeches on different subjects regarding production of Halal food, food processing, food packing, quality controlling of Halal foods, food quality and technology control, laboratory methods for Halal or Haram food recognition, and Halal food commercialization.
Halalis an Arabic word that means permissible. In terms of food, it refers to products permissible to eat or drink according to the Islamic law.
Halalfoods are proved to have positive physical effects on body in addition to some spiritual effects.
