Iran, Malaysia to compete in Asian Youth B-ball games
TEHRAN, Aug. 25 (MNA) Iran and Malaysian Basketball teams to compete within Asian Youth games on Tuesday.

Irans youth basketball team will face Malaysia in Asian Championship quarter-finals on Tuesday.


Media reported on Monday that in tomorrows games, these teams will face one another: China vs. Kazakhstan, South Korea vs. Japan and Taiwan vs. the Philippines.


Qatars basketball team, the host of this tournament, that failed to get into the quarter-finals, will face Kuwait tomorrow to gain the ninth place. Hong Kong will play against Jordan for eleventh place.


Iran beat Taiwan 74-41 in the previous game held on Sunday, and got to the quarter-finals with 10 points. Taiwan with 9 points, Japan with 8, and Kazakhstan with 7 points from the second group reached the quarter-finals of this tournament.
