TEHRAN, April 21 (MNA) � An Iranian PhD student has won Poster Award at Discovery Chemistry Congress 2014 held in Barcelona, Spain.
Kowsar Bagherzadeh, PhD student of Medicinal Chemistry, Tehran University of Medical Sciences was the main author of the poster article entitled �A New Insight into Mushroom Tyrosinase Inhibitors: Docking, Pharmacophore-Based Virtual Screening and Molecular Modeling Studies.�

The brief news in the website of Online Journal of Scientific Posters wrote that the article was published in prestigious Journal of Biomolecular Structure on March 9 2014 and was coauthored by Professor Mohammad Reza Ganjali, Ali Akbar Saboury, Massoud Amanlou and professor Carme Rovira of Barcelona University Chemistry Department.

Department of Medicinal Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicinal Plants Research, Center of Excellence in Electrochemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Tehran, and Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics, University of Tehran had been cited as venues where the research was worked out.

The conference was attended by students from the US, UK, Austria, Germany, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, South Korea, and China.
