Tabriz, East Azarbaijan, April 17, IRNA Signing preferential trade agreement is a fundamental step towards materializing $30 billion trade target between Iran and Turkey, said head of Iran-Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Group.
Addressing joint meeting of economic activists from Turkey and East Azarbaijan province in Tabriz, Osman Askin Bak added that the figure to be reached by the end of 2015 will be realized with the removal of obstacles and facilitation of commercial exchanges.
Referring to President Hassan Rouhanis visit to Turkey in late May, he noted that high level talks to that effect will be held during his stay in Ankara.

Given its proximity to Turkey, Tabriz has a special significance in promoting Tehran-Ankara ties, Askin Bak said.

Ahead of traveling to Tabriz, members of Turkish 50-man delegation comprising Askin Bak and private sectors activists attended the 24th session of Iran-Turkey Economic Commercial Cooperation Commission in Tehran.
