Tehran, April 16, IRNA Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani on Wednesday said that women?s rights are violated by the so-called advocates of human rights.
Addressing a group of judicial officials in Tehran on Tuesday, Ayatollah Larijani said these days, Islam and the Islamic Republic in particular are targeted by the so-called advocates of human rights for alleged violation of human rights particularly women?s rights.
He said woman from the standpoint of Islam should be well understood and introduced to world people.

Elsewhere in his address, Ayatollah Larijani said many social opportunities have been provided for women and even the percentage of women admitted to universities in Iran has been on the rise for the past few years.

He added that women have taken many social responsibilities as well.

He called on thinkers, ulama and academics as well as all officials to well define and introduce women.
