Irans Parliament delegation visits India

TEHRAN, Jan. 15 (MNA) India will host Iranian parliamentary delegation as well as businessmen, and officials from Health Ministry during next two weeks.


The six-member Parliaments Social Commission headed by Abdolreza Mousavi, the Parliament Board spokesman arrived at India. A second delegation of parliamentarians as well as Health Ministry officials will also visit India on Saturday January 19.

The parliamentary delegation will reportedly address the bilateral ties and economic relations between Iran and India.

The economic delegation consisted of 40 businessmen will also visit Mumbai last week. An Iranian diplomatic source in embassy in India told reporters that since Rouhani assumed power in Iran as president, Irans relations with India has a new turn for better. We hope to extend relations in these relations, added the diplomatic source, Indian media and circles have welcomed the Geneva deal with Powers and evaluated the development as positive.

Removal of sanctions will boost Tehran-Mumbai relations especially in energy sector, which India has welcomed it as a great success for Iran, the source asserted.
