IRGC to share flight security expertise: Cmdr.


The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) commander says the IRGC plans to share its expertise regarding flight security with Muslim and friendly states.

The ICAO [International Civil Aviation Organization], which supervises flight security in world countries, approves the measures adopted by the Islamic Republic and regards Iran as one of the successful countries in this field, Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said in Tehran on Thursday.
He added, Many Muslim and friendly states are seeking to acquire our expertise, and we are planning do to that.
Jafari further highlighted the IRGCs accomplishments in the past 30 years to maintain the security of flights, stressing that its forces have successfully frustrated more than 130 attempts by elements of the global arrogance and the Israeli regime to disrupt the security of Irans domestic and international flights.

On Wednesday, the IRGC Second-in-Command for Security Operations Brigadier General Mohammad Hassan Kazemi said the IRGC has registered a successful record in ensuring security for Iranian airliners in domestic and international flights.

We now enjoy a safe and secure environment in the aviation industry in a way that our aviation industry is among the safest [in the world]. We don't have [flight] security concerns, he pointed out.
