Iran drawn with Brazil and Italy in FIVB Volleyball World League

TEHRAN, Dec. 2 (MNA) The Iranian volleyball team has been drawn in 2014 FIVB Volleyball World League Pool A with Brazil, Italy and Poland.
Iran took part in the prestigious competitions for the first time ever in the last edition and earned great victories over Serbia, Cuba, Italy and Germany.

Pool B features reigning world champion Russia, the U.S., Bulgaria and Serbia.

Pool C consists of Belgium, Canada, Australia and Finland.

In Pool D Argentina is along with Germany, France and Japan and Pool E features Netherlands, South Korea, Portugal and Czech Republic.

At the Finals in Mar del Plata, Argentina in 2013, the Russian team picked up the title after overcoming Brazil 3-0 in the final.

Italy won the bronze medal after beating Bulgaria 3-2.
