An Iranian petrochemical installation[/caption]TEHRAN (FNA)- Karoun Petrochemical Complex set a new record in the production of Toluene disocyanates, hydrochloric acid and acid nitric.
The complex managed to produce 1327 tons of Toluene diisocyanates, 4186 tons of hydrochloric acid and 3030 tons of acid nitric during the Iranian month of Aban (started 23rd of October) which is a new record since it became operational in 2008.
Located in Imam Khomeini Petrochemical Especial Energy Economic Zone, Karoun Petrochemical Complex is the only producer of isocyanates in the Middle East.
In addition to offering its products in mercantile exchange and domestic market, the complex exports its products to other countries like Turkey, Azerbaijan Republic, Armenia, China, India and United Arab Emirates.
The complex is one of the main suppliers of essential needs of downstream sector in the country.
