Araqchi: Iran, G5+1 trying to patch up differences

Geneva, Nov 21, IRNA - Deputy Foreign Minister and a member of the country?s top nuclear negotiating team Abbas Araqchi said on Thursday that the three hours talks between Irans Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton was promising.
Speaking to reporters, he said during the intensive talks between the two sides they could win Irans trust to some extend.

It was the first time the two sides entered into details talks after reviewing general concepts which required more understanding, he said.

In these series of talks the two sides are trying to patch up differences, he said.

It seems that the foreign ministers of the participating countries are now getting ready to join talks, Araqchi said.

In case the other sides indicate required flexibility, the grounds might be prepared for signing a deal, he said.

Iran is not supposed to suspend enrichment under any circumstances, he underlined.
