Damascus, Nov 11, IRNA � Iranian ambassador to Syria on Monday delivered an invitation from Iranian vice-president and head of Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Mohammad-Ali Najafi to Syrian Tourism Minister Bishr Riyad Yazigi to attend an international exhibition on tourism and health to be held in Iran.


The exhibition which is scheduled for November 24-25 will be held in Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi province.

Ambassador Mohammad-Reza Raouf-Sheibani called for enhanced Tehran-Damascus ties particularly in tourism sector in the meeting with the Syrian minister.

The Syrian tourism minister, meanwhile, accepted the invitation, calling it a step towards enhancement of tourism between the two countries.
