Iranian artists Mother Land on display at Marseille exhibition of video arts

TEHRAN, Nov. 10 (MNA) Mother Land, a work by Iranian artist Rokhshad Nurdeh has been put on display at the exhibition of 50 Years of Video Arts in Marseille, France.


Works by prominent, world renowned artists have been selected for the exhibit, while several sessions on video arts in Iran have also been arranged on the sidelines.

Artists from Argentine, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, France, Greece, Italy, Japan and France are displaying their solo or joint installations at the exhibit, the instant video has announced on its website.

A graduate from the Beaux-Arts of Paris in 1986, Nurdeh has received many awards from different organizations and institutions, and her artworks have been purchased and supported by the French Ministry of Culture (FNAC), the Cultural Affairs of the City of Paris, and other French cities for their museums and exhibition halls of contemporary arts.

Her artworks have been exhibited in numerous galleries across Europe.The 5-day exhibit opened on November 7.
