New York, Oct 17, IRNA - Iran Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations Gholamhossein Dehghani said Geneva negotiations was a test for the honesty of Western countries.
Dehghani made the remarks in the general meeting of the Committee on Disarmament and International Security in Geneva, Wednesday evening.

Irans contribution in talks with the 5+1 aimed at allaying the concerns of the other parties over Tehran nuclear issue through serious, organized and fruitful negotiations, he added.

Dehghani underlined that the Islamic Republic of Iran, in return, expected the other parties involved in the negotiations to respect its inalienable nuclear rights and itsfully national nuclear enrichment cycle and consider lifting bilateral and unilateral sanctions against the country.

Irans new proposal presented by Foreign Minister and top nuclear negotiator Mohammad Javad Zarif aimed at advancing the negotiations, he said, urging the other sides to seize this opportunity to prove their honesty.
