Hormuzgan exports 17m tons of non-oil products in six months

Bandar Abbas, Hormuzgan Prov, Oct 8, IRNA An official at Hormuzgans Customs Office announced Tuesday that the province has exported some 17 million tons of non-oil products in the first half of the Iranian calendar year started on 21 March, 2013.
Abbas Ali Dadi told IRNA in this southern provincial city that the exported products worth 4.7 billion dollars showing some 13 percent increase compared with the previous year.

He added the exported goods have shown a 35 percent growth in terms of weight.

Petrochemical, agricultural and industrial products as well as carpets and handicrafts were among the non-oil exported items which have been exported to different countries including Iraq, China, India, Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
