Iran names 27 players for Asian Cup qualifier

TEHRAN, Oct. 6 (MNA) Iran football coach Carlos Queiroz has invited 27 players to the team for the match against Thailand in the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
San JoseEarthquakes defender Steven Beitashour was a surprise addition to Carlos Queirozs roster for the Asian Cup qualifier against Thailand.

Bundesliga goalkeeper Daniel Davari and Fulham midfielder Ashkan Dejagah have been invited to the team despite injuries.

Ira will face Thailand on October 15 in Tehrans Azadi Stadium.

Iran has already qualified for the World Cup and is the second-ranked team in Asia in the latest FIFA rankings.
