Iranian researchers design snake-like robots for underwater operations
TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian researchers have simulated and built a snake-like robot with cable simulator, inspiring spine of snake and octopus arms.
The robotic arms are similar to a hemisphere and can be planned for different paths, including arcuate and circle paths. The equation path is scheduled based on desirable time to plan the engine motions.

All calculations have been conducted based on inverse dynamic and cinematic and CED by Fluent software. Accuracy of performance of the sample are verified by tests and analysis.

The robotic arms could be used in endoscopy, CCTV, underwater welding, underwater operations, rescue operations as industrial robotic arms.
