Irans 27th edition of Festival of Films for Children and Young Adults has released the names of its jury members in national and international sections.Iranian directors Kiumars Pourahmad, Kianoush Ayyari and Yadollah Samadi as well as Irans cinematographer Mohammad Davoudi and actress Mahtab Keramati were named as the members of jury panel for national section.
Irans Farabi Cinematic Foundation International Department Director Amir Esfandiari, the Documentary and Experimental Film Center (DEFC) Director Shafi Aqamohammadian, Iranian filmmaker Ebrahim Forouzesh, the actress Vishka Asayesh and the animation artist Bahram Azimi are also to serve at the selection panel for the entries.
This years festival is programmed to screen 75 films from 40 countries in two main sections of the international cinema and international animation.
The participated films are to represent the countries such as Poland, Canada, Argentine, Australia, Italy, India, Taiwan, Turkey, France, and Russia.
Last years festival hosted over 700 Iranian and foreign directors, actors, film distributors.
Founded in 1985, the event was part of Fajr International Film Festival in its first three years.
The annual festival is set to be held in the Iranian historical city of Isfahan, offering different categories.
A large group of Iranian and international cineastes and children are planning to flock to the years festival that will take place from October 7 to 11, 2013.
