TEHRAN (FNA)- Jordanian lawmaker Meysar Salem al-Sardiya underlined support for regional resistance against Israel under the leadership of the Islamic Republic, and said that the inalienable rights of the Palestinians should be given back to them and safeguarded.Our goal of visit to Iran is supporting the resistance and we support the line which is led and managed by Iran, al-Sardiya said in a meeting with Supreme Leaders Advisor for International Affairs Ali Akbar Velayati on Saturday.
She reiterated the Muslim World's full support for the righteous rights of the Palestinians.
Al-Sardiya is a member of a Jordanian delegation, comprising retired military personnel, political activists and laborers, who conferred with Velayati, who is also the Secretary General of the Secretariat of the Islamic Awakening Conference, in Tehran today.
Earlier today, a senior Iranian lawmaker underlined that Iran as an influential actor in the region is resolved to extend its full support for the anti-Israeli resistance movements in the region.
Member of the Iranian Parliament's Presiding Board Hossein Sobhaninia stressed that Iran will do its utmost to protect the anti-Israeli resistance front as well as the wave of Islamic Awakening.
On February 3, Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei stressed Iran's direct involvement in the Palestinian and Lebanese confrontation against Israel, including the Lebanese Summer 2006 33-day resistance against the Zionist regime.
